Rosemary Hammond ↠ 2 Characters Malibu Music Harleuin Presents No 859 Free read ↠ 102 E role and offered friendshipHe seemed absolutely open frank and sincere unless it was all an act At times he was too good natured altogether too sure of himself and the effect he had on h Random pick out of the box o vintage HPs I really enjoyed this one Can t really explain why The heroine was a very sheltered naive girl The hero was not an ass but he was pretty mysterious He wasn t incredibly alpha but he wasn t beta either You could tell immediately that he had fallen for her and was playing by her rules in order to sneak up on her emotionally The writing was well done and the emotions mostly seemed believable Bit of a spoiler here about the ending view spoiler However she did do something very bad to him before she broke up with him When they got back together I didn t feel that she apologized enough Also even though he had looked up her address after she left him he hadn t tried to get in touch with her She made a point of noticing that but it was never spoken of between them It kind of made me feel that he wasn t as sincere in his wish to be back with her as he could have been Not that he didn t have every reason to never want to see her again But given what she had said to him and the way she treated him over basically nothing I felt that should have been said Weirdly I could see where he might be setting up some kind of a revenge thing to get her to admit she still loved him then he could walk out on her If it were me I d have been begging his forgiveness over and over But she never did and so the reader was kind of left wonderingSo have I over thought this enough P hide spoiler

would do the trick Bianca hoped the time alone would help her focus on what t Re Malibu Music or Let Your Groping Do Your Talking thanks setonRH gives us a 22 yr old might as well be a nun h who is having a mid life crisis She comes from a family of prodigy musicians and is herself a concert violinist but she is having a lot of doubt cause she just isn t a prodigy She is the baby of the family by 11 years and while she does have a musical talent she struggles a lot She has recently canceled a solo concert she isn t ready for solo performing and her famous painter sister asks her to watch her Malibu beach house while she is awayThe h is sorting herself out and leaps at the opportunity She is happily poddeling along the beach and enjoying life when she is awoken by a riotous party one night in the supposedly empty house next door She is curious but thinks maybe the owners came home early and hopes the parties won t be a continuous thing The next day she sees a dog going after a little black cat and she grabs her broom to ward the dog off A very handsome man comes up and gives her a hard time thinking she is a boy She saves the cat and does her best to get rid of the man once he figures out she is a girl he becomes very stagey and strangely challenging She doesn t like him much and they part ways She sees him in his underwear in the window of the house next door while walking along the beach and is strangely moved by his matinee idol looksThe man shows up again a few weeks later he ostensibly came to check on her because she hadn t been wandering the beach for a while She is practicing her violin really intensely and is not happy to see him He comes across as very flirty and gets gropey and there is a kissing attack with groping The h yells at him she is a serious artist and he says he is trying to be a serious person too apparently he just has a little wandering hand ticThere are gropings and wandering hand encounters and the h is slowly starting to like him especially as he realizes she isn t joking she doesn t want to play handsy She has to get a job and manages to get a dinner slot as a gypsy violinist She has to dress for the part and she needs some gypsy violin music so the H helps her with the music and the restaurant owner helps her with the Gypsy lookShe doesn t want the H to see her at work she is a bit embarrassed by the costume so she forbids him to come see her there She also meets a very famous movie star at the restaurant and doesn t recognize him she hasn t seen a movie in over ten years she has been practicing her violin The movie star asks her out she turns him down cause she is cooking dinner for the H The H is very attracted but working hard to keep his hands sorta restrained they can t help themselves sometimes tho Anyways he is really happy she turned down a movie star to be with himThen one night the h has a very drunken customer assault her at work and the H leaps up in disguise and rescues her He hauls her off over his shoulder and the hands can t be stopped They wind up in bed and avow mutual love and the H proposes The h decides that two hands on her person are better than four hands in the bush and she ecstatically agrees She is shopping for a wedding outfit when she sees a ueue and wonders what that is aboutShe looks at the billboard and sees the H in technicolor glory He was THE 70 s sex symbol and now he is having a film festival in his honor The h buys a ticket and sees the H looking at the actress in the movie just like he looks at her in bed She freaks out and kicks him to the curb and runs back to NYC He never told her he was an actor at one time in his life he told her he was a writer getting his first book published and had worked a lot of odd jobsThe h then feels bad cause she called him a prostitute before running off but she figures she blew her chance with her wild behavior honestly though it sounded like the movies were those 70 s exploitation films that were one step up from porn I could see where that might be a bit shocking She is missing him terribly and it isn t helping her music and she thinks she is doomed to a sad cat less lonely existence continually bewailing her impetuosity and overreaction to his movie career Then she spies adverts announcing the H is coming to NYC to promote his new book The H is everywhere and in her despairing state she decides she has to have one last glimpse of her exposed true lurve before she seals her heart away forever She puts on her red power suit and stalks around the bookstore where the H is signing books He sees her from afar and she runs away Then she spills her purse and is crying The H followed and helps her pick up her stuff he is a bit angry and demands to know why she is there and she cries like a big baby in the middle of the street and tells him she only wanted to glimpse his dear face one last time before departing from his life forever The H tells her to go home stop crying and he will be there soon he got her address from his agent She waits he shows up they have tuna sandwiches and wind up playing grabby games and the H makes her swear never to leave and HEA This one was okay the H had a lot of feeling communication in the book and the h gradually learns to appreciate it but in reality these two were just visiting HPlandia cause gropey hands aside they just weren t neurotic enough to make a real home there
